Egg Drop 2008 - Saturday, May 31

Contest Rules

The Challenge:

Design the lightest possible container for a raw egg that will prevent the egg from breaking or cracking when dropped from a 3rd story window onto a 5 foot diameter target.  Your container must open to insert a large egg provided by The Works, wrapped in a baggy.  You may then seal your container shut.

A team or individual can enter the contest.  Materials will also be available at The Works for people who would like to create an entry on the spot.  All entries will be dropped from a third story window.

Time:

Drops are at 11am, noon, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm

Admission $5 per person

Registration not required, but if you let us know you’re coming online prior to May 28th, you’ll be eligible to win a free membership to The Works!  Must check-in day of event. The drawing will be held at the end of the day, but the winner need not be present to win.
