E4: Excellence in Elementary Engineering Education

The E4 Conference is a full day professional development conference that focuses on the why, what and how of teaching quality elementary engineering.  Elementary educators, administrators, engineering professionals, and civic leaders are welcome.

 Attendees will leave the conference with:
     Information on new elementary engineering standards
     Knowledge of engineering and why it's important
     Great activities you can bring back to your classroom
     Confidence and know-how to instruct your students
     Inspiration to integrate engineering into other subjects
     Practical ideas from hands-on programs throughout Minnesota
 
The E4 conference features many prominent speakers, including a keynote address by Dr. AnnMarie Thomas, plus more than two dozen breakout sessions on three tracks:
    1.  Making it Work:  Pedagogy and Practical Ideas
    2.  Engineering with Kids
    3.  Real Engineers and Projects for your classroom

How to register

Cost for the 2010 E4 Conference is $75 per attendee, which includes lunch and 6 CEUs.  
  1. Register online with a credit card or purchase order or
  2. Mail in your payment with this registration form.
Please register early to avoid disappointment, as space is limited and this is a very popular conference.  Online registrations will close on January 26th, however last year we reached capacity early and had to close registration in advance.

The 2009 E4 Conference was held February 6th at the College of St. Catherine and attracted 230 educators, administrators, and engineering professionals.
