ExploraDome at The Works

Look at the stars from the Earth, the Earth from the stars, and travel through space in the cool comfort of a giant portable planetarium.  The ExploraDome's immersive technology allows visitors to explore the universe without taking their feet of the ground. Educators from the Minnesota Planetarium will be taking guests on an amazing guided adventure through space approximately every 30 minutes.

WHEN:

Thursday, July 8:  10:30 am to 3 pm
Friday, July 9:  10:30 am to 3 pm
Saturday, July 10:  10:30 am to 3 pm
Shows will run approximately every half hour.

COST:

  • $3 for each ticket to an ExploraDome show PLUS
  • $5 for each admission into The Works museum (children under three get free admission to the museum but we do not recommend they attend the ExploraDome show).
  • You are not required to do both, although we suggest it, of course!
  • This event is FREE for members of the Minnesota Planetarium or members of The Works
