Robot Day at

The Works Museum!

Save the Date – April 11, 2015

9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Come learn about robots of all shapes and sizes as we celebrate National Robotics Week. Meet robots used in businesses and universities, see student-built robots in action, and more!

Many thanks to all of last year’s presenters and volunteers who helped introduce robotics to kids and families:

  • University of Minnesota Computer Science and Engineering with NAO humanoid and AIBO dog robots
  • FIRST Robotics Competition teams demonstrated their student-built robots
  • JHF, Inc. and their “candy-grabbing” robotic arm and ball machine game
  • BRAAS Company  with collaborative robots produced by Universal Robots
  • Krazy Kubes by FTC team #3689, The LazyBotts
  • High Tech Kids with FIRST Lego League and FIRST Tech Challenge teams showed their student-built and programmed robots in competition
  • K12 and an engaging online activity
  • GoSolar! with solar-powered robots
  • And lots of great community volunteers

Special thanks to our 2015 Robot Day sponsors!
