Celebrate Birthday Parties at The Works Museum

Planning your child’s birthday party can be overwhelming, but at The Works Museum, we make it easy, fun, and memorable. Our hands-on, engineering-focused birthday parties offer kids a chance to explore, create, and celebrate in a unique and engaging way.

Here’s why parents and kids alike love celebrating with us:

1. A One-of-a-Kind Experience

Forget the typical birthday party circuit—our museum provides an interactive, hands-on environment where kids can build, experiment, and explore. Guests can explore our museum gallery, building and testing K’NEX racers down our ramp, explore how a  kaleidoscopes work, experience the engineering behind the walls of a house and more. It’s a party and an adventure all in one!

2. Hassle-Free for Parents

We take care of the details so you can focus on making memories. Our party staff handles setup and cleanup, and we provide all the tableware and supplies. Plus, with free parking and easy access to the museum, getting here is a breeze. All you need to bring is the cake and the guests—we’ll handle the rest!

3. Hands-On Fun with Take-Home Projects

No need to worry about party favors, the kids will make their own! Each party includes a hands-on engineering project tailored to different age groups. The project is guided by one of our staff members. Options include:

  • Ages 5-6: Sail Cars or Kaleidoscopes

  • Ages 7-8: Fling Flyers or Kaleidoscopes

  • Ages 9-12: Mini-Catapults or Kaleidoscopes

Not only do kids have a blast building their projects, but they also take home a fun keepsake from the party.

4. Flexible Party Packages

Choose between our 90-minute and two-hour party packages to fit your needs. Both options include  time on the museum floor and a private party room for treats and presents, and the two-hour party includes the staff-led engineering projects listed above.

  • Cost: $210 for a 90-minute party and $250 for a two-hour party for up to 10 children (additional children $10 each, adults are free)

  • Includes: Museum exploration, private party room, and a guided engineering project (two-hour party)
