Families can explore at their own pace while tackling hands-on engineering challenges, meeting inspiring STEM role models, and building confidence as they discover that engineering is everywhere - and everyone engineers. She Engineers is part of our ongoing effort to increase the participation of girls and female-identifying youth in STEM and welcomes participants of all genders to join the fun!

FAQ’s about She Engineers:

No. Please remain in attendance with your children. All children must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

Expect to spend one to two hours exploring She Engineers activities, and allow additional time for exploring the Experience Gallery.

You are welcome to leave and return any time during the event, just be sure to keep your Museum wristband.

Pre-registration is encouraged and saves money! Visitors may purchase event tickets at the door for $15. Members are free, but pre-registration is still encouraged.

We only accept event-specific certificates and free passes. Some event sponsors may qualify for a ticket discount. For more information, contact info@theworks.org.

She Engineers is ideal for kids ages 4 and up. However, we see a lot of younger siblings. Just be aware that you will find small parts and other activities inappropriate for kids under 4.
