Inspiring tomorrow’s engineers and scientists with Stephan Schaefbauer
Dear Friends,
This Give to the Max Day, we’re celebrating a major milestone birthday – for 30 years, The Works Museum has inspired the next generation of innovators, engineers, and creative problem solvers. Together with you, we’ve worked to spark curiosity and confidence in every child with hands-on engineering experiences that help kids see that engineering is everywhere—and everyone engineers.
Last year, we welcomed Board of Trustees member Stephan Schaefbauer. She’s brought her positive energy and creative ideas into every meeting and project. When she says that she believes deeply in supporting the next generation of scientists and innovators, she really means it. In her interview, she says: “We need kids to be inspired to go into STEM and see themselves in it.” She works tirelessly to make this a reality.
Stephan is just one of the incredible individuals, like you! - who helps make our work possible.
Please join us as we celebrate 30 years of The Works Museum with a gift to our community on this Give to the Max Day. Together, we’ll inspire tomorrow’s engineers and scientists.
With gratitude,
Jill Measells
CEO of The Works Museum
Join Our 30th Birthday Celebration!
This Give to the Max Day, we’re celebrating our 30th birthday—and we’ve made a birthday wish list! Instead of gifts for us, we’re asking you to help us give back to the community.
Your gift will help to ensure that every child can visit with their family or school, attend camp, or experience workshops or family engineering programs in their school.
Early giving has already started! Make your Give to the Max Day gift anytime, now through November 20, 2025, to support The Works Museum and to help our birthday wishes come true.
