Creating opportunities for kids to themselves in STEM with Jazmine Darden

Dear Friends,

It’s never too early for a child to start imagining a future in STEM. For three decades, we’ve created hands-on engineering experiences that help kids see themselves in engineering, explore new possibilities, and build confidence in their creativity and problem-solving.

In the video, you heard from Board of Trustees member, Jazmine Darden, and her connection to our work. I agree whole-heartedly with her when she says, “What I love about The Works Museum is that it creates a safe space for kids to try new things, to fail and learn from that, to be challenged, and to see people who look like themselves that are already in the field.”

That’s exactly who we are, who we’ve been for 30 years, and who we’ll be for the next 30.

This Give to the Max Day, please help us celebrate our milestone birthday. When you give to The Works Museum, you help create opportunities for kids to explore, meet STEM role-models, and to know that they can be part of the next generation of innovators, engineers and creative problem-solvers.

It’s been an incredible 30 years. Help us keep inspiring for 30 more.

With gratitude,

Jill Measells

CEO of The Works Museum
