Robot Day at The Works Museum
The Works Museum hosted our annual Robot Day family event on Saturday, May 2, 2026. Robot Day celebrates all things robotics, inviting visitors to explore what goes into building, maintaining, and operating robots through hands-on activities and live demonstrations.
The museum was buzzing with excitement as local high school robotics teams showcased their work with event partners like High Tech Kids and CiSTEM-B. Industry partners like E-Tracks demonstrated how robotics systems are transforming agriculture by helping farmers use fertilizer more efficiently, while SayKid introduced families to ToyBot, an interactive robot designed to play games and engage as a companion in the home.
Robotics is a rapidly growing and wide-ranging field within STEM, with applications that touch nearly every part of our lives. Introducing kids to these concepts early helps spark curiosity, build confidence, and inspire the next generation of innovators, engineers, and creative problem-solvers.
A big thank you to Emerson and New Code Academy for making this event possible, as well as to all of our partners and visitors who helped make the day such a success.
