MPLS Teacher Strike Camps at The Works Museum

The Works will be offering the following camps to support families and teachers during the Minneapolis teacher strike. The following camps will be cancelled and full refunds provided if the strike does not take place and school is in session in Minneapolis. Camps are open to ages 5-12 (5-year-olds must be currently in Kindergarten.) Families in need of assistance are invited to apply for a camp scholarship by filling out the application form here, and calling The Works Museum upon completion of the form to provide payment information and secure your reservation.

Cardboard Creations: Castles
9:00 am – 4:00 pm | $120 per day, $108 members
Learn the basics of cardboard construction, then build a themed structure and customize it with amazing features that you design. You get to be the designer, the architect, and the engineer all rolled into one!
Castles: Build a castle, then add features like secret rooms, trap doors, and drawbridges.

Roller Coasters and Marble Games
9:00 am – 4:00 pm | $120 per day, $108 members
Engineer roller coasters for balls and marbles. Construct a marble maze game to take home.
