City of Richfield Unity in The Community

Last week, we brought a little engineering to Unity in the Community with ring gliders! Families built their own gliders, then took them outside to see how they handled the breeze. Kids quickly got into the engineering mindset - try it, see what happens, make a change and try again.

A huge thank-you to our volunteers for bringing their energy and enthusiasm to the day, and to the City of Richfield for welcoming The Works Museum into this wonderful community celebration at Veterans Park. From school supplies and ice cream to hands-on activities and conversations with neighbors, Unity in the Community was a great example of the many people and organizations working together to make our neighborhood a great place for families.
