We Love STEM Family Day at Emerson

We’re grateful for another opportunity to spread our love for STEM, partnering with Emerson for their We Love STEM Family Day at their Shakopee location!

The Works Museum joined as a community partner, bringing two hands-on favorites from our Family Engineering Nights: Rainbow Glasses, which use light and engineered prism lenses to create spectacular rainbows, and the Pop Fly Team Challenge, where adult-child teams use limited materials to build a device that launches a ping-pong ball high enough for a teammate to catch, while Emerson employees led the event’s other activity stations and demonstrations.

Kids and adults alike had a blast creating, testing and engineering together, and we’re thankful to Emerson for bringing families and STEM together for such a fun event!
