Our annual She Engineers family event returns Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This year, we are hosting a breakfast before the event, which provides a special opportunity for families to meet and engage with engineering role models. Breakfast space is limited, so reserve your tickets today.

Here’s what you need to know about this year’s She Engineers event:

She Engineers Breakfast

Join us for a pre-event breakfast from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.

Kick off the She Engineers experience with breakfast, where you'll meet other guests and members of our Host Committee, STEM professionals who are excited to share their stories. Meet these incredible volunteers and other guests and get first access to the event.

Space is limited, so purchase your ticket early to hold your space at the breakfast.

All proceeds from the breakfast support our She Engineers initiative, through which we seek to increase participation of girls and gender-expansive youth in STEM. Thank you to the IF/THEN® Champions Network, Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC), and the National Girls Collaborative Project for supporting our She Engineers breakfast.

Breakfast ticket pricing includes admission to the She Engineers event:

$50 (includes one adult + one child), plus $25 for each additional guest.
Member admission is $30 (includes one adult + one child), plus $15 for each additional guest.

She Engineers Event

Our family event runs from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

At She Engineers, families can explore at their own pace while tackling hands-on engineering challenges like launching cotton balls across the room from toilet paper tube launchers with Burns and Mcdonnell, completing circuits to make devices light up, spin, or create sound with Collins Aerospace, and much more.

Visitors build confidence as they explore our interactive exhibit space, meet real engineers, and try hands-on activities. The event helps kids and families discover that engineering is everywhere - and everyone engineers.

Our annual She Engineers event is part of our ongoing effort and She Engineers initiative to increase the participation of girls and gender-expansive youth in STEM. At the event, participants of all genders are welcome to join the fun.

She Engineers event admission:

• Event admission is $15 in advance and $17 at the door. Museum members attend for free, and scholarships are available through our Gateway program.
